So I finally broke down and went to ward choir practice. In the second song I sang with them, I was asked to sing a duet with a girl in my ward. We sang today. It was way great!! I'm so excited to keep singing with them.
I think I just like singing in general. I mean, it's so much fun. And when I sing.... I don't know, I just feel good. I think I'm gonna keep singing. :) Somebody who doesn't even go to our ward came and he told me that I could go places if I kept singing. It made my day :D
Just when I needed a self esteem boost... It sure made me feel good. Every time I need a self esteem boost, someone says something to me that just makes my day. It's great. I'm really happy.
And excited to start working on our new songs. They are Christmas songs.
I'm also excited for school choir on Tuesday. We're working on 2 Christmas songs and a lullaby for our Christmas concert and I'm super excited. We're singing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Slumber Song, and Sing We Now of Christmas.
Well I have to go now. Bye :D

Summer Adventures!
I didn't do very many things over the summer worth reading about. There are, however, 2 notable adventures that I had.
The first was Girls Camp. Boy, what an adventure. We camped at Downata Hotsprings, swam in the pool every day, did some crafts, and slept in "Indian tepees" which had doors built into them, and were situated on 4 inch slabs of concrete with carpet, cots, and electricity inside. It was a real outdoorsy adventure, let me tell you. Ha ha! It was fun though.
The second adventure I had was the Lincoln Stake Handcart Trek.
It was amazing. What else can I say? I'd go into specifics but it'd make this WAAY too long to enjoy. I'll just briefly say that when it started out, I was not enthusiastic at all. I mean, walking 30 miles in 3 days pushing a handcart with 9 other people I didn't know and didn't care about? Who didn't know or care about me? But by the time it ended, I definitely grew to appreciate the 9 members of my ''family'' and would have done anything to keep walking and pushing the handcart, to stay out there longer. We all grew to appreciate, know, and care about each other. It was amazing.
I may eventually blog more about it, but for now, I think I'm done. Ciao!
